This set of magazine and newspaper databases is for Indiana residents only. Many of the articles are full-text. It can be accessed from any computer in Indiana that has an Internet connection. Master File Premier is a good database to try when looking for general magazines. Academic Search Elite covers more scholarly journals. There are also databases for newspapers, business, medical, military/government, and children's resources. Biography Resource Center, INSPIRE for Kids, and INFORME, a Spanish language database, are also available in INSPIRE. To access INSPIRE, point your browser to http://www.in.gov/library/inspire/
Indiana residents who use a national, regional, or out-of-state Internet Service Provider, rather than a local provider, will need a password to access the INSPIRE databases.

Global Warrior covers 175 countries & territories. Content includes 1,575 country maps as well as 6,500 color photos. Great for travel or school reports, Global Warrior includes information on Government, Society and Culture, Business Culture and Travel. Recipes and sports information about each country will be added in the fall of 2008.

TumbleBook Library

The TumbleBook Library is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) and TumblePuzzles. TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.

is an automotive repair database from Mitchell1 who publishes the well know Mitchell Manuals. It provides information on repair, maintenance, parts and labor estimates, wiring diagrams, and Technical Service Bulletins for most cars.
This database can only be used inside the SCPL Main Library.
